Someone Has Been There is for anyone going through a difficult season who wants to hear from a Christian who has walked through something similar.
Tell us what you're going through in your own words, and we'll help you find testimonies from people who have been there. There are no profiles, no followers and no comments — just real stories of how God met people in hard places.
How stories are shared
- Every testimony is submitted anonymously — no account, name or email.
- An automated check looks for things like contact details, spam or harmful content.
- A person then reads every testimony, may remove accidental personal details or fix small formatting issues, and decides whether to publish it.
- We don't verify who wrote a story or prove it happened. We review content to keep the site safe and respectful.
Privacy
We follow a data-minimisation approach. We only store the text of your testimony and your optional Bible verse.
We don't create accounts or profiles, and we don't add social-media tracking or advertising. Published stories never show who wrote them.
Like any website, our hosting provider may process basic technical information (such as IP addresses in server logs) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use this to identify people who share.
"This encouraged me" is kept as a private tally only. It's never shown publicly.
